Description

The present number of TELOS magazine delves into the definition and scope of what it is known as digital humanities. The debate we raise has to do with the very essence of what has been traditionally considered Humanities, with its contents, its methods, its objectives and even its usefulness, in a world that seems dominated by results, data, mathematics, engineering, technology and science.

In this issue we consider the role played by, among other disciplines, philosophy, philology, history, geography, law, political science, psychology, anthropology, sociology, plastic arts, performing arts, music, aesthetics, art theory, communication sciences, economics, ethics, religion ... in a time like the one we live in, marked by immediacy, constant change, mutations.
