Social Action and Volunteering

Fundación Telefónica’s Social Action and Volunteering programme promotes different solidarity initiatives in 30 countries to combat social and digital vulnerability. In this way, it works on two parallel lines of intervention: social innovation and corporate volunteering.

One of the world's leading corporate volunteering initiatives

Through both channels, Fundación Telefónica provides innovative solutions with a focus on employability, education and social and digital vulnerability, to multiply progress opportunities for the groups most at risk of being left behind.

Through different innovative Social Action projects, we accompany social entities in their digital transformation process to contribute to improving the lives of people in vulnerable situations. To achieve this goal, we developed a digital strategy based on two action principles: to increase the social impact of interventions and to improve process efficiency.

And thanks to the Telefónica Volunteer Program we channel the solidarity impulse of employees, making their vocation as agents of change a reality, and putting their digital capabilities at the service of society to combat social and digital vulnerability.
