This publication analyzes new educational trends which make possible for children and teenagers born in disadvantaged environments to acquire the skills and competencies needed to live in a digital world. Opinions and experiences of a large group of teachers, pupils and schoolmasters from nine states of the country have been gathered in order to establish the usage level of technology in this field.
One of the main discoveries of the study is that the use of ICT in Venezuelan schools depends more on teacher´s motivation and early adoption of technology by the pupils, than on other factors such as the type of school, financial resources or availability of devices.
