RECONECTADOS. Technology is ageless
Digitalisation has brought us a long list of social, economic and health advances and improvements… but it has also widened the social and digital divide, especially for those who do not have the same access to this technological transformation.
That is why, in this fast-moving world, we must all be prepared not to be left behind. The inclusion of the most vulnerable people in the face of digitalisation entails the need to implement specific projects for one of the segments most exposed to the digital divide: the elderly.
With education and training as strategic axes of our purpose, we are launching RECONECTADOS. Technology is ageless, a comprehensive and free programme for training in digital skills for the elderly and their direct environment so that both family members and professionals from social organisations that work with the elderly can be with them in their learning process.
Because at Fundación Telefónica we are aware of the important role they play in our society and we know that it is never too late to do so.
