The Interactive Generation in Spain

October of 2009 | .

Against the backdrop of an incipient millennium, Information and Communication Technologies are becoming main players in the making of important changes in spheres such as education, leisure, communication and social relations. They all stand out on account of their youth and share this feature with the sector of the public which best adapts to and assimilates all the possibilities they offer to their lives: a new Interactive Generation is born. This book defines and illustrates the relationship Spanish minors have with various screens like Internet, videogames, mobile telephones and television. It does so based on an integrated vision of all the screens and the most important spheres which surround these users, i.e. school and family.
