Evaluation of the Employment Launch Pads Social Impact

February of 2016 | Antonio Luján Martínez y Eva Raboso Campos

The problem of youth unemployment in Spain is certainly a threat. Nearly 50% of youngsters are unemployed, a situation which seriously damages their professional and personal development expectations. Since 2014 Fundación Telefónica carries out actions under the employability “Everyone Included” Program aimed to improve the capabilities, skills and competencies of socially disadvantaged young people in order to promote their social integration opportunities.

The present Report of Evaluation of the Employment Launch Pads Social Impact is the answer of Fundación Telefónica to the problem of high rates in youth employment.

The report meets three objectives and essential needs: to know the effects and changes on unemployed youth due to the Employment Launch Pads project, to share the knowledge and experiences so that the initiative can be replicated and to be held accountable to society.

We wish that this study will help to enrich knowledge on youth unemployment and will bring understanding on the problem so that public and private institutions join efforts to fight this serious issue.
