Telefónica Foundation to Host NASA Space Challenge 2025 Once Again

Nasa Space Challenge

Madrid has become the first city to host the presentation of the upcoming edition of the world’s largest hackathon, NASA Space Challenge Apps, which will be held from October 3-5 this year.

Telefónica Foundation and its programming campuses in Málaga, Barcelona, and Urduliz (Bizkaia) will serve as venues for this international event for the third consecutive year, which has undoubtedly become a key date for innovation, creativity, and digital transformation.

During the presentation event, held at San Blas Digital Municipal School of Madrid City Council’s Employment Agency, the registration opening date for the October call was announced, along with the publication of challenges that participants will need to tackle to secure a spot in the international grand final.

In the previous edition, more than 700 people participated across seven cities, forming over 140 teams.

For Telefónica Foundation, hosting this initiative reinforces its commitment to promoting technological talent that learns at the 42 programming campuses. As in previous years, three of these free programming centers will once again host this event, which has already become the international event with the greatest reach in terms of development and creativity.
