Description
The world is in the midst of digital transformation, a process that is drastically altering the ways of producing, consuming, and, in short, of living, inherited from the industrial economy of the 20th century. Technology has deeply penetrated societies, becoming a reality in which a large part of the population participates and benefits. The countries of Latin America are not immune to this great trend and have assumed a firm commitment to orient their productive and institutional frameworks towards digitalization as a way to boost productivity and competitiveness that guarantee economic growth.
Digital Society in Latin America 2023 aims to offer testimony of the state of the changes that are taking place in the region, reflecting the degree of progress in the different areas and countries.
