At the event, the report Desarrollo empresarial y redes sociales. El caso de las microempresas españolas ‘Corporate development and social networks. The case of Spanish micro-enterprises’ (Col.Fundación Telefónica / Ariel), produced by Fundación Telefónica in collaboration with Red.es, was presented.
According to the report Desarrollo empresarial y redes sociales. El caso de las microempresas españolas (Corporate Development and Social Networks. The case of Spanish micro-businesses) (Col. Fundación Telefónica / Ariel), produced by Fundación Telefónica in collaboration with Red.es, 42% of Spanish micro-businesses are actively present on social networks. In other words, one in every two micro-businesses have active Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn profiles.
However, only one third of our micro-businesses interact with them daily: although they know about these networks, they are unaware of the benefits they bring. The micro-businesses present on social media are also characterised by a lack of planning and strategy.
The report was presented at Espacio Fundación Telefónica by the Director of ONTSI (National Observatory of Telecommunications and the Information Society), Carmelo Muñoz; the Director of Studies, Publications, Education and Strategy at Fundación Telefónica, Alejandro Díaz Garreta; the Director of the Social Media Manager and CM team at Movistar, Paco Vázquez Herández; the founding partner of Territorio Creativo, Pepa Romero; the co-founder and CEO of Gafavintage, Jorge Portela, and gallery owner Sabrina Amrani.
