Why do we say “digital transformation” if we mean “the future”?

Fecha: June 2015

Lugar: Espacio Fundación Telefónica Madrid

Until now we have merely played with technology, but the time has come for these technologies, particularly ICTs, to make economic impact, and that means putting them to work for business.

The digital transformation will change everything, from the way businesses organise themselves to the way they relate to clients. All areas will be affected, from marketing to finance. According to some analysts, 40% of existing businesses will not survive this change, which means an in-depth knowledge of the change is needed.

At this event, four speakers who have analysed this topic in depth and who have been chosen for having published books and articles on the digital transformation, talked us about their vision of what this great change is and how it will develop.

MODERATOR: José de la Peña (@sandopen). Consultant and Managing Partner of Neolabels.

SPEAKERS:

Genis Roca (@genisroca). President and founder of RocaSalvatella. Co-author of Big Data para directivos (Big Data for Executives) and author of the report La transformación digital de los negocios (The Digital Transformation of Business”.
Fernando Polo (@abladias). Founding partner and Managing Director of Territorio Creativo.
Fernando de la Rosa (@titonet). Founder of Foxize School.
Mosiri Cabezas (@mosiri). Director of Digital Transformation and Business Acceleration at Telefónica.
