What is creativity? What does creativity require? Can a creative process be audited? These are just some of the questions answered in “Ferran Adrià. Auditing the Creative Process”, which is the first exhibition by the great Catalan chef in Madrid, the largest ever devoted to his work, and the first to explore creative processes.

Over a thousand square metres of surface and the careful supervision of Mr Adriá himself make this the biggest exhibition ever devoted to this wonderful Catalan author. The cuisine served at his elBulli restaurant represented a revolutionary change of paradigm, which is now on display in the form of an array of notes, sketches, dishes and utensils. But the real purpose of the exhibition is to delve deep into the process of creation and innovation that gave rise to this transformation.
