The years of crisis have changed many features of the media industry, its contents and its consumption, but also new participants have arrived and new communication practices have arised which have nothing to do with the effects of economic recession.

This book tackles the evolution of media during the last decade and its present situation, considering the particular context of each one of them: traditional ones (press, TV, radio) and new ones (Google, social media). Besides, other features have been considered such as the new ways of consuming information contents and new occupations emerging within the communication industry.
